Which spark plugs and wire set should I purchase?

I currently own a 1988 Cadillac Sedan Deville with a 4.5L V8 engine. I definitely need to have my plugs and wires changed. I was looking at getting AC Delco spark plugs and wires. I've been told to get Bosch if the price is right. What do you suggest?

Always stick with the factory recommended AC-Delco spark plugs and ignition wires. Bosch spark plugs belong in old VW's Stihl chain saws and Ski-doo snowmobiles.

I'd like to know who told you to stick random Bosch plugs in a Cadillac as
