I have a 09 Corolla and there is a clicking sound coming from the car. I was told by a Toyota techinician that it seems to be coming from around the shifter area when we went for a road test. They said they "reposition all heat shield under vehicle
If it's coming from under the hood, then it's not the turn signal flasher (there's no such thing as a turn signal "solenoid"). Usually this random sound is caused by a malfunctioning relay switch. If it happens while idling, feel each relay
