My ford escort 4 door 2000 model's brake pad seem damaged. How much will it cost to repair in San Diego?

My car's brake make noise when ever I start running it. The noise increases on increasing speed. Where can I find cheapest deal in San Diego? I am a student.

you may only need brake pads but if you keep driving it as is you will also need rotors. have a shop look at it for an accurate estimate.
